Throttle Stroke
« on: »
Looking to replace my "home made" throttle assembly with a Domino unit but can't find figures for stroke and degrees/mm. I know I can measure stroke but it's degrees/mm that matters as I don't want to buy something that has a really fast response.

I was going fit these but got talked out of it by a few people who had fitted them ,they said it would not suit a big lazy v-twin don't know if they are talking bollocks let us know how you get on with it.

The older Domino units were quick response but they now do a version "XM2" which comes with 3 different stroke capabilities, I'll work out what the MT is and see if I can match it. I can understand the quick action ones might not suit the MT but I had seen them on the Italian bikes at the last meet.

Just an update, in case anyone's interested. The MT has a ratio of 2.86º/mm (roughly) therefore the Domino XM2 will work as it has a ring which gives 2.9º/mm.
