Thanks NIKK
have you got 12,800 I could borrow

please
1 of only 2 in the country...!

Including quickshifter....
Find myself asking whether the Ohlins forks are really worth £3-4K.
They’re really not, it’s the rarity of the editing that the price is based on I think. It’s actually good value as to buy the forks on their own is apparently 11k!
Do the Ohlins forks make much of a difference to the ride?
Yep they do because your wallet will be a lot lighter
Think they were only £11,500 when they came out

Interesting question, I would like to know if any SP owners would care to comment
They do make a massive difference to the ride. Much more sporty. Whether that actually suits the mt is another matter. In my view they dont, really, but I still love it!
Yes, I can see that the character of the engine could be at odds with ohlins suspension, I'm just guessing that the quality and adjustability would make for a nicer ride on a twisty road.
G'day - 1 of only 2 in the Country? - I have 1 of only 4 in Australia and there's 2 in New Zealand I would have thought there were more than 2 in the UK however
That's a lovely clean SP you have there Muttaburra.

Wouldn’t be surprised if most of the original uk allocation ended up in Germany as it’s so easy to move them around Europe.
Seems plausible Nikk....the Germans do have a soft spot for these bikes !
Heres mine in Brisbane OZ. The Ohlins are firm but oh so solid. I have recently replaced the fork seals and they are very easy to work on and an absolute work of art.
