Hello To cut a long story short about mixed up Jerry cans I put 5 liters of diesel into my bike (top up on top of 8 of petrol) and took off down the road = Bike coughed and stopped, so trailed it back home and started to try to sort it out .
Drain and wash out tank, flushed lines with Petrol, New plugs ( the old one's were a bit black ) Took out O2 Sensor (Very black) and socked it in petrol for 48hrs cleaned with toothbrush, New PETROL . but alas I can't get it to run.
Have checked the plug and there's petrol getting in there, got spark and it has cough and banged a flew time but now nothing.
No error number and or tho I can access the Diagnostics I have no clue want I'm looking at or if you can changer anything
It was suggested that the ecu many have tried to adjust to the new conditions then shut it self down, Factory ecu reset procedure anyone or new O2 sensor ? what else could have got stuffed ?
Any helpful insightful ideas would be grateful received

Hi mate easy done but a real pain
Once you've flushed out and cleaned everything she should run but I think you've fecked the O2 sensor
I don't think they're a lot of money ask on here someone may have a good secondhand one or take the opportunity to up grade to a better one
maybe a good squirt of quick start down the spark pug holes and air box just might get it to fire up you can only try if it does start keep it running and go get a can of injector cleaner put some in the tank give it a run

As for my bike still dead in the shed !
And yes I have tried the usual tricks, easy start in the air box and down the plug holes, and the odd pray to the Goddess Nike but still Sulking about the Diesel abuse.
Situation as it stands is with the air filter in lid closed no easy start tank on, if I cycle through the diagnostic menu and flip the kill switch on and off in some it will do things like start up the fuel pump click and whirl some other thing or other ( I am experimenting ) But then when I switch off the key then switch it back on and hit the starter it will fire as normal and run for 1, 2 seconds before stopping.
My assessment is that the ECU is not get the info it whats to see and so shuts it off hence my inquiry about resetting the ECU and O2 senor.
I will got a new O2 sensor and see it if that makes a differences
But if any body has an insights .......
