Removing Akrapovic baffles

I'm trying to get the baffles out to change them.
The 3 screws come out no problem but that large collar that
holds the baffles in just won't budge.
Tapping it with a wooden drift doesn't release them.
I've tried it with the exhausts both hot and cold.
Any tips anyone?

they should just pull off could try starting it with the 3 bolts out just get some help in case it falls out onto the floor you could try putting a hammer handle inside and give it a good wobble if you get them out put copper slip on the back of the collars

Running the engine doesn't budge them at all.
Those collars seem to have welded themselves in.
Wiggling a hammer around inside might do it all right.
I was also thinking some sort of sliding hammer set up.
I don't want to damage the inside of the baffles though.
WD40 wouldn't react with the titanium would it?

Go a head with the WD40 wont hurt them just wipe any lose spray up then leave over night tap them with a mallet not a hammer they will come off

If some one still has their Akra`s off the bike -  Can you measure the dimensions of the graphite gaskets ..... I don't have them and need to buy them but don`t know the dimensions ....If you know from where I could buy them thats even better ! Will the stock ones work ? ??? ::) :'(

Glad to be of some help that's what forums are about don't forget to put some copper grease on the backs and bolts when you put them back on

Yep, already done, cheers.
Anybody interested in buying my modified baffles?
Suberb deep sound and makes the backfire sound like a high velocity rifle shot.
Half the length of standard and about 30% wider bore.
I got them machined in Germany years ago. Not the ones from Stage3 in Hungary.
I'll try and post a pic later.
