Rear Brake Noise
« on: »
Hi , My MT01 rear brake makes a kind of humming noise when applied. It sounds to be coming from the right hand lever master assembly when I apply the brake. Its been like this a long time so maybe its normal. Just that my other bikes don't make this noise. Is some noise normal ????  Thanks

Hi Jota,

I am not aware of any brake noise from my own bike except when its up on the paddock stand and I rotate the wheel for chain oiling or wheel cleaning..
Then I hear the usual slight hiss from the pads on the disc.. The front also does this..
Hopefully you will get a more useful / complete answer before long.

Simon
Power is how hard you hit the wall..
Torque is how far you take the wall with you

Hi Simon thanks for the reply. All good now ... changed the brake fluid and fixed the noise. Must have been a small bit of air caught somewhere. Thx.
