New (to me ) MT01
« on: »
Well here she is arrived yesterday
Only ridden it up and down the road what an experience gonna have to relearn how to ride as I am so used to a big smooth 4.
Handling and brakes are awesome though and that noise!!!!!
Noticed the right had exhaust it wobbly looks like the bushes are worn so ordered some new ones, also the flange nut thing needs replacing any ideas where I can get one?
Its shown in the pics

I need to change the handle bars to wider flatter jobbies, are there ones that fit the original risers any recomendations?

Cheers all

Hey looks nice. Those pipes give it a good note I'll bet. Mine has Staintune pipes which are a bit too subdued for my liking particularly at idle. You might need to be careful changing the bars since the brake line is rigid behind the headlight. Little room to move the master cylinder. New braided brake lines are available but I'm always reluctant to make my bikes into money pits. Maybe worthwhile with the MT cause they are special. Best thing I've done to mine .... fender extender on the front mudguard to keep crap off the front of the engine.  Cheers
