Sold the MT01 and bought a sensible XT1200 Super Tenere, it was great, could not fault it, great suspension, wind protection, full luggage, quiet etc BUT it did not engage you like an MT01!
Paid more than I sold it for but it has been cherished. Getting it delivered to Northern Ireland next week.
. Sold the XT1200 and bought a Thruxton R 1200, great bike and I plan to keep that too. Great to be back

been down that road myself sold my MT01 to buy a VMAX 1700 then sold the max for a FJR 1300 now im happy again as i got another MT01 and bought another new VMAX 1700 so best of both worlds
just missed its immense character too much, plus my mates asked me how I could sell such a machine? What do you think of Vmax?
I bought a Super Ten to go with the MT01 because I just couldn’t bring myself to be tying tents, sleeping bags and all manner of crap to the MT. I can handle hoteling it for 5-7 days around Europe using a Ventura back pack on the MT but for anything longer or where camping is involved it has to be the S10.
