Havn't you been riding the Beast long enough to know what gear by feel?  ;)
I bought some indicator kits from China, 1,50 € each or so, so I bought 3 if one should fail. The kits were very basic and needed some inventing to make work. For that reason I never got round to doing it, and at about the same point in time I learned to feel and see by the meters if I'm in 4th or top gear. Which is all that is needed. I think the kits were ok though, just fitting them was a bigger job than I thought.

Yeah been riding the MT01 since July 2017 as I sold my 2006 in 2012 I had a gear indicator on that one made by Accumate I think it was very good.
thing is I have 4 bikes and ride them all may have two or three weeks at a time on each one so sound is different having a V twin a V four and two inline fours so just like to add another
