OK I have a dual seat that I want to cut out the rear part so I can use it with the single seat setup I had one previous mt01 but lost the photo as to wear to cut the plastic has anyone got a photo of the under side of the cut sea so I can copy it
Nikk's got a single seat on his SP hasn't he, have you tried sending a PM?
Thanks you its a start I do think my old one was cut more as it needs to let the carbon tail cover to fit into the cut out think I may need to remove the carbon tail and cut around it but will try this first Thanks

This is a Yamaha made single seat (they do look rough) but sounds like a good plan using the tail piece as a pattern

Just seen this, I,ll do a pic for you tomorrow. They are just a standard base cut off pretty rough.

Sorry, busy busy, tomorrow, promise.
OK made the cut looks like it fits ok and locks in so ill add some webbing and recover
All done rear foot rest to put back on with the single seat set up
Arr I see what you're doing now, I did the same but cut the carbon tail so the seat stayed whole

As I said you'll have to drill out the plate and bolt the footrest right though with maybe a spacer or two I can't really remember it was a while ago and I'm not running with that set up now
was thinking of that but seats are easy to find Carbone tails are not
could I ask you to do a better photo of the rear foot rest and see how the boomerang part been put on
Thanks Ash
yes thanks looks like you have put a spacer in just finding it hard because the boomerang thing has a threaded hole as well as the foot rest so think I need to make 2 spacers to keep the footrest level
