ACF50?
« on: »
I've never used it and know very little about it.
How would you guys rate it for the 01?
I have mine spotless at the moment and am considering
it to keep it clean.
Any tips or insights?

ACF 50 I believe was developed for the aircraft industry to tackle corrosion to aluminium but won't keep her clean but will protect forming a film which does not wash so warding off corrosion

Thanks. So, just for the engine or would you apply it to exhausts and paintwork too?

its not cheap but does what it says it does on the can I go over my bikes once a year on most jap bike nuts and bolts will look like **** in one winter use a small model paint brush to go over them then put it on every thing apart from the brake rotas all electrics as well will not harm rubber unlike WD40 ask anyone who knows me my bikes look like new even at 10 years old

I've had mine done twice a year by allyearbiker for the last few years. They do a complete valet and ACF50 (or an alternative called XCP) for around £75. Personally, i can't be arsed to do the level of cleaning they do so i reckon it's a bargain!
