Finally arrive and fitted, bike the same so it wasn't the problem
I think I've found the problem (famous last words:))
When I took off the Idle control valve I linked the two cylinders together (pipe intake to intake) I think may have upset things as there are cylinder pressure sensors? unlinked and intake stub now blocked, I took her test ride she seamed better eliminating the spluttering at lower revs.
