No need to remove the fan? mines still in place with full stage 2 Akrapovic system, just the outer covers go as far as I know?

Ok. Yeh I hoped the fan could go. There is a German company on eBay that does the carbon covers for about £290. Not cheap. But can’t see any anywhere else.

Quite rare parts you'll have to search the internet eBay etc but they're not cheap
as for the fan it's not needed

Hello all, just bought an 06 MT01 with 22k and full service history for £5800. It’s very clean and runs great. I have wanted one for years and have finally got one, and I’m not disappointed. It has the Akra end cans and I’m tempted to remove the covers and fit the half carbon versions. I’ve inspected underneath and they look in great condition.
I know that I will need to remove the under seat  fan  Can it be refitted? Any info appreciated. 👍
