Yes, its an easy way to get a bit of switched power. Mind you it should never blow so maybe look for some wiring issue with the pc. Maybe chafing baring a wire?

I got the answer in another community that I will share with you.
Power Commander is connected to the same fuse and the engine will not start without it.
Title: Ignition problem
Post by: ronniefredrik on February 17, 2019, 08:15:31 am
During my last ride latest season my MT01 suddenly stopped.
I did some checks in a structural way (cables, switches, relays, fuses).
I had no ignition to none of the four spark plugs.
I recognized early that one fuse was broken.
It was the fuse to parking light (next to the ecu fuse).
I didn’t replace it because I didn’t believe that it had to do with the problem so I focused on other things.
I was ready to give up and I thought that maybe it’s because of a faulty ecu.
But, yesterday I bought new fuses so I replaced the one for the parking light.
I tried to start the bike and it started nice and clear?!?!?!

I’m so released but can anyone tell me why a fuse to the parking light prevents the engine to start?
