Nice surprise, just deleting some old links and thought I would test first. Recognise some old names.

Hello all
Great to see this dedicated forum back on.
I'm a long time 01 owner and was lost when the other forum shut down.
Feels a bit like home.
Well done Nikk  8)

Hi ash

Good to hear from you. I’ve not ridden the sp for ages now as it started leaking from the fork seals and I also got myself a vmax. Going to get it sorted soon, promise !

What do you think of the v-max compared to the mt

What do you think of the v-max compared to the mt

MT-01 1700 V Vmax 1700 Pros & Cons

MT easer to ride

MT more MPG even though both are 1700

MT engine has lot of torque so less gear changes

MT tires are cheaper what it cost for a pair for the MT will only buy you one back tire for the max

Vmax Pros

vmax Shraft Drive no oil wax or adjustments needed like a chain

vmax twist that throttle open and hold on these things bloody move

vmax Cons

vmax weight vmax around 620lbs

vmax tires don't last long think their is a fault between the wrist and the throttle but i cant fix it

vmax fuel both have a 15lt tank but the fuel light comes on around the 80 miles mark so make sure you carry a credit card at all times

 But I love them both

Hope this helps
