Front tyre wearing twice as fast as rear

• MT 01 2006 54000 km on the clock. Front tyre wearing twice as fast as rear .  Commute use all Year round . Previous bike Bandit 1250 it was always 2 rear tyre to 1 front.
  
  Is this type of wear normal on the MT 01 ?
  
  Have the MT 01  2 year's now  and will NEVER let it go . Most fun I ever had on two Wheels.

• I've had this before, but only once in 15 years, so I'm not sure what actually caused it. Perhaps the specific type and specific sort of riding/surfaces. Never had it with Michelin DC tyres. Glad you like it, they are special.
